My name is Jakee Zaccor but you can call me JZ.
I started Shake because I believe we need a new way to gather—one that centers joy, connection, and presence without alcohol.
When I got sober 10 years ago at 28, I didn’t just need to stop drinking—I needed something to move toward.
I needed music. Movement. Ritual. Celebration. I needed people. Not performative connection, but the kind that feels like coming home to yourself.
Shake is one expression of a deeper mission: to create vibrant, sober-centered communities where people can feel free, safe, and fully alive. Because presence can feel better than escape. Because we’re in a loneliness epidemic, and alcohol isn’t fixing it.
Because I’ve lived the void these spaces are meant to fill—and I know what’s possible on the other side.
This is for the folks who are tired of pretending.
For the ones craving depth, freedom, and fun that doesn’t leave them feeling hollow. It’s for anyone who’s ever thought, “there has to be more than this.”
Good news: there is.
